EASY BELT
// custom timing belt & pulley CAD — 3D print ready

Belt Parameters

Advanced — tooth geometry (mm)

STL is the printable 3D solid. DXF exports the flat 2D sketch (outer circle + tooth profile) on separate layers so you can pull it into Fusion 360 and re-extrude or edit the sketch yourself.

Tooth profiles here are functional approximations tuned for FDM 3D printing (smooth curved flanks for GT2/HTD/AT-style profiles, straight flanks for MXL/XL/T-style profiles) — not certified industrial spec geometry. Use the Print Fit Offset and Advanced fields to dial in fit for your printer and mating pulley.

Pulley Parameters

Advanced — tooth geometry (mm)

STL is the printable 3D solid, ready for your slicer.

Pulley pitch diameter uses the same circumference = pitch × teeth relationship as the belt, so a belt and pulley built at the same profile and pitch diameter will mesh correctly. The tooth crest is pulled in slightly by the Fit Clearance Offset to avoid interference with the mating belt's tooth tips — increase it if the belt binds, decrease it if it's loose.

Center Distance → Belt Size

Uses the standard open-belt length formula from pitch diameters. Gives you the exact tooth count required, plus the closest whole-tooth belt sizes shorter and longer than that, each with the center distance you'd need to actually fit them.
